ASK lends £24.6m to Ability Group for expansion of Bristol Airport Hilton Hotel
ASK has provided a £24.6m loan facility to Ability Group secured against the Bristol Airport Hampton by Hilton Hotel. The loan will be used to refinance an existing facility and fund an extension of the hotel to create a further 50 bedrooms.

ASK lends £12m for the Island Quarter in Nottingham
ASK has provided a senior loan facility to AIM-listed property developer Conygar, which will be used to fund the next stage of their 12-phase masterplan for the Island Quarter in Nottingham. The plans propose 3.5m sq ft of residential, office, PBSA, hotel, bioscience and leisure uses and a 693-bed PBSA scheme is already under construction.

ASK lends for office to residential conversion
Real estate funding specialist, ASK Partners (“ASK”) has provided a senior loan facility, secured against a 59,000sqft office building in the City of London. The borrower, a JV partnership between HUB and Bridges Fund Management, is looking to achieve planning consent for an approximately 300-bed residential scheme.

ASK has launched a new lending product in response to the evolving debt market. With a minimum term of 6 months and minimum loan amount of £5 million, the product is aimed at built assets in the living sector and is not encumbered by a minimum ICR.

ASK announces H1 lending figures for 2023
Following a slow first quarter, Q2 saw a rebound in activity with six transactions totalling £170m. This brings us to £217m of finance provided in H1 2023 and a total of £1.34bn of lending overall.
