ASK funds acquisition of Nottingham Virgin Active gym

ASK is delighted to have supported Conygar’s acquisition of the Virgin Active gym in Nottingham, as part of its 12-phase Island Quarter development plan. The purchase was funded by way of a drawdown of the second and final £7m tranche of Conygar’s existing debt facility with ASK.

Elliot Blatt, Head of Origination, who ran the transaction for ASK said:

"It was a pleasure to work with David Baldwin and the team at Conygar and we wish them all the best with this ambitious and exciting redevelopment project which will open up access to 36 acres of the city of Nottingham. A 200-capacity events hall, outdoor stage and two restaurants are already open, with student accommodation and a hotel opening soon."
