Daniel Austin outlines priorities for Autumn Budget to support property investors

In a letter to Chancellor Rachel Reeves, ASK’s CEO and Co-founder Daniel Austin outlines what he feels should be prioritised in the Autumn Budget to support property investment and development in the UK.

Daniel urges the Chancellor to deliver measures that will stabilise the property market in the short term while laying foundations for long-term economic resilience and growth and prioritise the following in the October Budget:

• Empower SME housebuilders
• Fix the planning system
• Strengthen construction skills
• Prioritise social housing
• Incentivise brownfield and conversions
• Attract more (and international) investment
